Punctuation shortcut

Ever since I updated to Gingerbread, holding the period down to get punctuation selections doesn't work.

I have the same issue, I have found that turning the phone on then off again will allow the punctuation shortcut to be seen again. Still have no fix for the long run but this will work for now
