I just got locked out of my awesome phone never had trouble with it (knock on wood) but this morning. It only took 17 mins to unlock if anyone get lock out you have to call customer service and then make you our code for your sim card...

*locked out of your phone. 1. use the default number 1111 2. if that dont work you have to call customer service.

Thanks to a considerate member I have been made aware the PUK is in reference to PIN Unlock Key (and not poor judgement in language :))

Thread re-opened.

oops I was talking on my phone when typing this out sorry about my typing skills LOL:icon_ banana:

Yeah, when I got my Thunderbolt they were having problems activating the sim-chips so they were using that 1111 password all over the place. By the time it was my turn, they weren't having to do all that crazy stuff. I hope I never have to do that.

I was on T-Mobile from 97 to 2008 and have had my fare share of locking out the Sim chips. Not fun, especially if you do it on the weekend. lol.

and when you get locked out of the sim card you have to buy another one. Customers service told me this today

Ya know i just had a customer come to me about that.. on the thunderbolt in particular. I simply pulled out the SIM and re-booted.. worked like a charm ;)
