Problems With tethering with Droid X

For some reason im having a problem tethering with my new Droid X. I had not problem tethering with my Droid Eris it worked great. Now im getting a HTC sync error = -1 when i double click on the desktop Icon. Can anyone help with this please.

Tethering issues.

I've had great luck with pdanet on my DX. No problems tethering at all.
