problem with wife's droid

My daughter played with my wife's droid now whenever she uses touchscreen a line is created and the top of her home screen has a bunch of numbers. anyone know how to fix this behavior?

Yes, don't give her the phone and she won't mess it up again.






Also, I have no idea what her phone is doing. Did you try and reboot?

Yeah have rebooted, even reloaded the custom rom(without wipe).

I would do the Factory Hard Reset as Hax suggested. One other option would be to reflash the rom, but do the wipes first.

Good luck. Oh, and don't let you daughter near the TV Remote, Microwave, DVR, etc., etc. !!!

droids do a lot, but they are not good passifiers for children. always amazes me, as much important crap that we use our devices for, people will still give it to an infant and then wonder why things don't work when one drools on it, throws it across the room , ect.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.


now that I'm done lecturing, it does sound like some sort of swipe or gesture type of thing. If the hard reset didn't work, look in gesture settings
