Problem transfering to my X

I recently had a software issue with my X and verizon replaced it with a new X. When I got the phone I realized that it had the new 2.2 installed. Everything works PERFECT except for whe I try to transfer music on to it. It takes FOREVER to transfer. When I do it with anything else (an ipod or hard drive) it transfers at a normal speed, but whenever I transfer to my X it takes MUCH longer. Is anyone else having this problem? Solution?

Take the card out and transfer with a reader. Problem solved

I checked that but it says that the disc is write protected.
