prevent changes

is there an app or setting which will prevent accidental changes to home screens? issue- everytime i get my main home screen tweaked just right, i will accidentally long press an app, it slightly moves, and i have to get the screen reoriented as i want. becoming a headache.

ADW Launcher lets you "Lock Desktop", which will prevent further changes until you "Unlock Desktop." Not sure if you're willing to switch launchers, but if it's that much of a headache for you, perhaps you should look into it

im using simi folders widget, which lets me customize each icon totally. im new, is simi folders widget my launcher or can i use simi with adw?
