Pre-Release Froyo Poll

I installed it yesterday but never could get my Market to reliably work...and it ran very slow. even after data wiping twice and reinstalling. I voted "unsuccessfully installed" but once a simply stunning ROM is out with it ill install that in an instant

Ran first froyo release and now running the second release. Froyo is pretty nice, gotta say I like flash more than I thought I would and chrome to phone is friggin awesome. All I really miss is the dark edge ui and it's wicked awesome lock screen.

I installed everything as they came out. I have pretty much everything you can add and I must say, my phone is the best it has ever been in all aspects.

Don't regret it one bit.

On second with new baseband. Haven't done flash yet, may wait on that. Pleased with it as is, haven't yet bothered to oc.

Installed on Saturday. Updated to latest version today. Love Froyo. Visibly faster and smoother.

Can't wait for source code so the Modders can work their magic and bring us some kick ass stuff.

I'm in, this is by far the best my Droid has ever performed, of course I have my 2.1 backup, but doubt I will ever see it again, before I went Froyo I copied my 2.1 System/Data app folders to my SD so I can easily access my themed Icons, Apps, and Widgets, which was smart because some of my apps didn't make the transition from 2.1 and are no longer available in the market. Even in the "Pre-Alpha" stage Froyo is a Beast on my Droid and it's Stupid Fast, now all I need is a Smoked or Bugless Froyo...and of course, a Donate Link!!!

Everybody already said the good things I woulda said....All I can add is: Yes indeed. And I dont plan on going back to 2.1 in the near future either. Its Froyo all the way from here on out.

There is an app for 2.1 thats like chrome to phone called Link Push out now.

Installed Froyo Leak 2... yet to revert. Everything is noticeably faster than any ROM I've used.... only downer is the non-working wi-fi.

Install one of the kernels from MDW.

Froyo Overclocked Kernels includes *wifi* fix

That will fix the wifi.

Thanks Hook. I had just the P3 Kernel running. But this will be sweeet.

EDIT: I am an idiot. I already had one of these kernels running. My wi-fi is fine. LOL

I switched to Froyo on Saturday, then updated again when the new release came out. My brother did the same. I rooted, installed and setup a co-workers the other day after he saw my Quadrant scores compared to his stock Droid (1573 vs. 313).

I've done stock, overclocked stock, Simply Stunning and CyanogenMod.....I'll probably stay on this Froyo release(s) until a built from source ROM comes from one of the developers.
