you might have to call and talk to someone at vzw to get the $50 off....that is how it worked 2 years ago when i got my og droid...and while you are there hit em up for some other discounts..you never know..

Heath I went to the vzw store and preordered and they gave me the $50 upgrade discount. You just can't do it on the internet for some reason.

I got my final New Every Two update with no problem. When I went to the preorder page it asked me to log in as an existing customer. As soon as it had my account info, it stated that my line was eligible for a discount and it took $50 off of the phone. Got it for $250.
