So I got a Powermat *travel edition* for Christmas and unfortunately the power cube does not charge the Droid....at all. The light on the base of the Powermat lights up but does not work at all for the Droid original.
After writing Powermat 3 weeks ago and never receiving a response, I finally received a new Micro USB adapter for the universal power cube and now it works.
So if anyone else had the issue, now you know the solution.
