Hey everybody...
I know theres already several battery threads, but I wanted to make one not to gloat or moan about battery life... but to get the battery stats so we can get an idea of whats going on with these great phones.
In case you dont know how to get to the battery stats...
From the home screen Press
MENU
SETTINGS
BATTERY & DATA MANAGER
And then press the battery icon
If you could please list the following:
Top of the screen lists a time... mine currently says 6h41m12s on battery - this is very helpful
Now the top 5 or so processes and their percentages
Cell standby 39%
Phone idle 31%
Display 11%
Android OS 4%
Talk 3%
Also tell us how you've been using the phone since you pulled it off the charger
Light, medium, heavy. And if you're on 3g,4g and if WiFi and/or Bluetooth are on or off.
This info will be very helpful for those of us who are having problems to figure out if it's user error, a bad battery or if the phone itself is draining. The more people who post their stats the better
