Possible virus?

Since we can connect to the WWW, and download pix and vids from all over, can the Droid X ( specifically Android 2.1 (then upcoming 2.2) OS) be susceptible to virus'? ... or does the OS already have a built in antivirus "force" to not accept any download that might have a possible infected file? Do we have to install antivirus from the market?

i believe not. there is nothing that u can download (other than .apks) that is executable so unless youre downloading really sketchy apk files, you should be good
