Pop3 email

This has probably bee n covered, but I haven't found the answer... My Droid 2 will not sent emails from my pop3 account unless I have an active wifi connection = no wifi, no sent emails.

I can receive them just fine. My imap account will send and receive without wifi.

I use the generic email program that came with the phone. My phone service is provided by Verizon, and my email is through Time-Warner Cable.

You need to find the correct settings for the outbound server in your area.

For me it's smtp-server.roadrunner.com.
