awhile back ago i rooted my motorola droid. it started messing up and im wondering which would be easier, removing the rom all together and going back to the default, or putting a new one on there?

probably be easier to just load a new one but what are your issues?

a TON of closing apps and slow loading apps calling app messes up alot and messaging does too.

what rom are you running and how long have you been having problems

Its the same amount of work for either option. But I would recommend choosing a well known rom as to avoid those problems next time.

What ROM are you on and have you attempted any updates or did it just start happening?

umm, running chevy1 and having problems fr a while, and another problem is battery life!

You mean Simply Stunning? What version?

Yeah that's it, I'm running version 4.91 I think

I believe it's up to 4.9.5, so try updating it and see if you still have problems.
