I have the droid 1. I need help rooting it please. I did have the HTC droid eris and rooted it just fine. Please help. Thank you

Search for the thread" root regardless of version" or something like that. Can't link to it using the DF app and the site is a pain to use on a phone.

I used that link and that's how I found droidforums.net. I am a newbie, but did mine no problem. I am running 2.2.2 on the D1, and used Windows 7 for the root. I am thankful for all the detail. Now - time to learn how to flash a new ROM. hehehe...
