please help i want the ics on my droid 4

So a friend of my rooted my phone about 4 months ago and now i see most droid 4 have gotten a update for ics. I have tried updating my phone but it saids update failed.. Is there a way i can get ics while still being rooted?

you can use rsd lite to update but you will need to root again, which is possible to do so yes.
