Please Help asap?Swype help..

Every time i turn on and off my phone my swype doesn't work. i have to go to setting and adjust the keyboard settings to not be both swype and android.and then i have to go to the input method and hope it works but sometimes it doesn't..also when i start my droid it says my swype isnt for my version or something like that..is there a way to permanently set it or a way to keep it that way?please any help would be appreciated,also seems like some peoople arent getting the help they need in here....:motdroidvert: (btw moto droid)

What version of Swype are you running? items listed in your Swype options.
If it's not the 5612 version then I would download and install this

Droid.Swype.Beta.5612.apk

You should not have any problems with this version.

I went to swype in settings/applications and at the top it said version 5652..its the beta one too..do I have to delete this one first beforre downloadinng that one?thanks

If I remember correctly, I just downloaded and installed the 5612 version and it replaced the old one using the swype installer already on your phone from the initial download. Try that and then look at your version again. It should be the correct one.
