Everytime I try to go to the play store it says that background data needs to be enabled. When I click enable, it goes to my list of emails. Where do I enable this background data? Is it one button for all or do I have to do it individually for each app? This is frustrating.

Try going to Settings> Data Usage> then tap the 3 vertical boxes in the top right corner and see if background data is restricted. Also make sure mobile data is turned on.

Thank you. Background data was turned on. I just cleared cache and that seemed to have fixed the issue.

The playstore is buggy just as the old market was. Updates are always a little screwey for me..

Ugh got a replacement phone and the data was restricted. I love this site. It sure helps me get my mobile devices behaving quickly!
