Pin screen lock help

I originally wanted a 4 digit pin to lock the screen. now I want to take it off.....any idea on how to do that. I know it is something simple but I just can locate it. i only want to little lock slide and not the pin password anymore.
help....

Not sure what phone your on but on mine you go in to settings, location & security, remove screen lock. Then you confirm with the pin you had set up.

yea see that is where i thought it would be but it is not. all it gives me is the change screen lock and then it acts like it is going through the process of setting one up.

Keep going, your not done yet.

Settings - Location & Security - Change Screen Lock - (enter pin) - then you get to choose what method you want........... None-Pattern-Pin-Password.
