Picture save location

So I have (it seems) a bad sd card, which means I can't take any pictures with my phone until I get it replaced under warranty. Since I'm on vacation right now, and there's no vzw store anywhere close, is there a way to save pictures to the internal memory instead?

Have you reformatted your SD card with your device ?

It won't reformat. It's basically non responsive.

You do know that you don't have to get the new SD card from Verizon? Pretty much any microSD card from any electronic's store will do. You can probably get one from Walmart or one of the office supply chains like Staples. They aren't expensive.

Then when you can get back to Verizon put the bad card back in and see if they will replace it. You'll have a spare.

And, sorry, I don't know of any way to store the pictures in the phone's memory.

Yeah I know any one will work, but part of what I want to rule out is that it really is the card that's bad and not a bad slot. Also don't want to spend more money than I have to.
