We didn't quite get to this story yesterday, but it is worth sharing today for fans of Sony phones. There are some interesting pics of a new Sony Xperia U smartphone from XperiaBlog.net. The pics display the phone sitting beside an Xperia S for comparison purposes. There isn't very much info on the phone to go along with the pics, but sources suspect that the phone will likely sport a 1GHz dual-core processor, 3.5-inch (480 x 854) display and 5MP camera, which puts it smack dab in the mid-range category. It's interesting to see the Ericsson label still on the device, but the final retail version will likely not have that.
