First Look at Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc

Wow, Sony finally looks to have something to compete with the big boys in this new Android World. The new Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc is expected to officially be unveiled today at CES but here are some leaked details ahead of the announcement.

• 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (single-core?)
• 4.2-inch 854 x 480-pixel touchscreen display
• 8 megapixel back-illuminated Sony sensor with HD video capture
• Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS and a
• Slim contoured body measuring 8.7mm at its thinnest point.

Nifty, I'll give it that. Unfortunately seeing how well Sony supported it's existing Xperia line of devices does not instill confidence at all.

Totally agree. Sony needs to work on its name again in this market before many of us burned before would start to flock back.
