Pic transfer from SD card to gallery

Trying to figure out how to transfer a photo from my Droid's SD card to the Gallery. Anyone?
You don't need to. The card is automatically scanned. You might want to reference threads on card rescan issues. A reboot will probably force a rescan.

Once you're in the gallery you should see a window or folder that has "sd card". All your photos/videos can be found in there.

Biggest thing though, make sure that whatever folder your pics are in does not have a .nomedia file in it as well (that prevents the gallery from scanning the folder).

Is that a file that can be created? That would be super handy of you're trying to hide certain pictures of a lewd nature.dancedroid

Yes it can. No content needed, just a filename of .nomedia. However, it only hides it the pictures from the Gallery, they're still on the phone and not hidden in any way at all when browsing the file system.
