Physical Keyboard Problems

Does anyone else's physical keyboard just stop operating all of a sudden when typing? The problem is quickly resolved by rebooting phone but it's happening more frequently now and it's getting really annoying. I don't remember it happening before dling GoLauncher Pro so is it possible that this is the cause of my issue? Perhaps I'm way off base on this one, but I would just hate to think that it is an internal hardware problem with the phone. Please share any of your thoughts/experiences/advice on this matter. Thanks.

Did you uninstal GoLauncher Pro to see if its still doing that without that app?

Give the keyboard SwiftKey X a try. I have it, stock, and GO. SwiftKey is By Far the best. That's only My opinion though.

I looked for SwiftKey in the Android market and in the GoMarket and nothing came up with such a name. You sure it wasn't discontinued?

Yes. This happened with my D2G as well. The problem is something to do with Motor Blur and GB. Easy fix. Go to settings and clear the "learned words". Search for a bit, you'll find it. After that restart. It should work for a month or two. When it happens again just repeat. There is no permanent fix that I know of.

I have had the same thing happen to me. What's weird is that the volume up button will also stop working, but volume down is fine. A reboot takes care of it.

Does anyone use their d4 in a somewhat dirty environment? I work in a machine shop, and i wondered about the possibility of dirt and grit getting in or under the keys? Is the keyboard sealed like the d3?

I put mine in a sandwhich bag when I'm Fishing, or on my boat, working where I may sweat a lot. ( cutting grass )you can do most things without taking it out of the bag. Just an idea
