I have found a possible issue with the PB app.
I was having a problem uploading photos from a GPS app (EveryTrail) and while troubleshooting that I disabled the auto upload of photos in Photobucket.
Not only did it solve the problem but the camera works much faster now when used on it's own.
If you are having slow camera issues try turning off any auto uploads you have enabled (Photobucket, Facebook, Twitter, Etc.) you may cure or at least improve the cameras performance.
