Phone's microphone fails frequently

Among the many problems I've had with this phone, the most frustrating is the daily failure of the microphone. Sometimes I have to boot the phone several times before the microphone engages. This occurs whether or not I have the speaker engaged. This problem, along with the horrible battery life, is ridiculous.

What phone do u have? It could be a hardware issue and maybe u can get vzw tech to look at it

Just noticed the same problem on my X. I use my X with a bluetooth or on speaker almost all the time. Yesterday, twice making calls, the person on the other end could not hear me until I switched to speakerphone. Thought it might be the phone, but see on other forums it might be related to GB.
