First thing I would do is nothing. I'd let it charge for a while. Can you tell me what phone you have, are you currently rooted or in the process of rooting and I'll try to get you to the right area.

yea you need to charge the battery so it changes from cant program to ok to program

I have a droid 1

I was rooted, but in the process on going back to stock.

I was flashing it back to the stock with rdclite and then it failed and started doing that

I've let it sit on the charger all night but it did the same thing as soon as i tried to flash it again it did the same thing

I'm trying to avoid having to buy a new battery

i have thesame problem it wont charge the phone for me either using usb or wall charger im having to swap batteries any idea what bp passthrough mode is ? then phone disconnects?

Unfortunately, you're going to have to get the battery charged up first. If it's not charging via the phone, then find a friend with a droid that can charge it for you, or buy a battery only charger.
