Phone want play ringtones or vibrate when I get a txt

I think this maybe a bug from the new update I for a few weeks ago but sometimes when I get a txt either I get no ringtone and vibrate or its like a partial ring and I get like 2 sometimes 3 copys of the same message. Anyone know what this is and or how to fix it?
