My wife got a Droid 2 about a week ago and everything was running great up until yesterday. She was uploading pictures from her phone to Facebook and on the fifth picture or so, her phone stopped responding, the screen slowly darkened, the images began to scramble, and after about thirty seconds of that, the phone when black and stopped responding all together.
She pulled the battery, restarted the phone and everything was fine again, until she tried to upload pictures again. Essentially the same problem happened again, although this time the phone eventually started responding, only to go completely black a few seconds later. The issue doesn't happen every single time she tries to upload pictures, but it happens a lot.
She went into the Verizon store today only to get the cold shoulder with the tech and manager blamming it on software and telling her there's nothing they can do. I however haven't been able to find this problem posted anywhere.
How can we possibly solve this issue? Does anyone else have this problem? Should we insist that she gets a new phone? She hasn't put a lot of market apps on her phone, but could a live wallpaper be causing the issue?
