Phone Lag when Called?

This has only been going on since a little bit before 2.2, I will be getting called and the phone seems to have trouble keeping up with the screen change. It stays black, then goes to my unlock (Simple swipe, no combo or anything) and then goes black again, I have to swipe my finger across where the answer would be and then it goes through and I can answer, but again with a long couple of seconds before it responds. Any ideas what is going on? Only thing I can think of is Home++ is in desperate need of an update and is slowing down my phone?
