Phone idle eating cpu and battery?

so my batterys been draining pretty fast lately, and I noticed that "phone idle" was taking 48%ish of my battery. I looked in watchdog, and saw that "idle" processes were accounting for 60% of cpu usage. Any ideas?!

Bad battery maybe? or Try this: Charge the phone to 100% then go into CWM ADVANCED > Wipe battery stats. And see if that helps...

Just got RAZR ICS Upgrade.
Can anyone explain why my battery stat shows PHONE IDLE @49%
Is it because it was fully charged before going to bed last night.
Read post above, but different phone. CWM Advanced? can't find it on RAZR. Help welcomed....

Its a misleading stat. Charge your phone to 100% and just leave it laying around til you hear your 15% warning. You'll find your idle stats are near 100% because all the power used was while the phone was idle. Think about it.
