Phone getting very very hot!

I have been using my stock Bionic with extended battery since launch. I love it but recently its been getting very hot when running apps like MX Player Pro or FoxFi for teathering. I haven't seen any drop in battery life but I'm getting concerned about the heat. Any ideas?

Processor intensive games and using a wifi access point generate heat. Take the phone out of a case if it's in one. Stand it up so the front and back aren't covered so it can dissipate as much as possible. I think the phone is smart enough to turn off before you damage it.
