Phone Freezes Up

SeeEss

Member
I have had my Incredible for about 6 months and love it. However, just recently, it has started to freeze up...no particular area. It can be anywhere, an app, a regular screen, the phone, etc. I have found if I push the lock button on the top left twice, then unlock the phone again I am returned to wherever I was when the phone froze.

Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to prevent it? I have tons of storage space left on both my phone and SD card. Thanks.

First off, what are you running? Stock, custom rom/ kernel?

Secondly? Do you have any task killers installed?

Did you install apps recently that may be causing this? Maybe clear app cache in each app. Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All > click each app and clear cache.

Was SD new with device?
Are alot of apps on the SD?
Tried a different SD?
Are you synching a lot of stuff?
