Phone bricked itself?

I have no idea what happened. I turned my phone on, it booted to the OS no problem. Nothing was wrong until I noticed that my network said Verizon Wireless, when it should have said Rogers (I live in Canada and am using GSM). So I went to the "mobile network" tab in the settings menu, and my phone just shut off. It was at least at 80% and just shut off. I can't even turn it on now. I have no idea what happened. I can't even turn it on by pressing vol down + power. Plugging it in to the charger does nothing either. I am running the 4/7 build I think of AOKP/ICS leak on 6.16.213. Also, if I plug it in to my PC via USB, the green LED comes on but nothing else happens.

I had a similar shut down issue with my phone just three days after getting it. Verizon replaced it and in have not had any issues with the new one.

Mine shut down in the middle of a call with 90+% battery life left. but also would not turn back on nor do anything with a charger plugged in.
