Phantom vibrate alert - Droid Incredible

Since the last OS update I have a phantom vibrate alert that occurs a couple of times an hour - phone gives a short-double vibrate as if I received a text message but I have no new text, voicemail, email etc. It does this even when I have the sound notifications turned on. I have checked my alarm clock, timer, etc. Very irritating - anyone else have this problem?

Haven't experience this one before. Have you tried doing a battery pull (no less than 5 minutes) then turning back on? Let us know if that improves the situation.

Also, do you have any apps installed that may be receiving notifications that you may not know about? Ebay, paypal, mobile banking, anything like that? It could be one of your apps.
