PDANet vs. EasyTether Lite?

tried both but went with PDANET - purchased version. Pretty quick overall but very slow with netflix - obvious large bandwith issue. Only issue so far is that I can't sent email via outlook express. Receive works fine and through the web version of optonline I can send and receive so not a show stopper. Overall, well worth the money. My understanding is that FROYO will have something like this built in but could not wait.

VZW is still going to make you pay to tether. Call *611 and ask. Don't get too excited because you might as well stick with what you're doing.

I use Easytether Pro. Spending $10 > Spending $30

I haven't tried the PDANet, but i downloaded Easy Tether over the weekend. Today i tested it at work with great results...not using it to download music or movies (have plenty of both)...basically used it to hook up to the poker sites...i am using a unrooted droid1, so for me to do this, i felt like i had accomplished something pretty cool....lol...but ill have to keep an eye on the bandwidth that it uses, since i have no clue about that stuff either

btw, i figured since im not searching all over the internet for stuff, i am using the Easy Tether Lite (freebie)...why pay for it, when it does what i need....

Planet works for me. I use cable tether charge and send to my phone works great. I can use bluetooth but kills battery and then you still have to charge
