When you plug in a usb cable connected to a computer it shows an icon at the top in the notification tray. Select it and then click pc mode.

So hold on. So when I plug the phone into the computer. On the phone top left corner I hit that and turn it on to pc mode?

only thing that pops up is my micro sd card storage. everything that i have saved on that. nothing about "icon at the top in the notification tray. Select it and then click pc mode."

There is no PC mode that I have ever seen, merely an enable usb mass storage mode. Has always worked for me.

What sucks is I already paid for it. I have the option of mailing to him and have him do it.

I'm not sure what you are trying to get done on your phone but on this forum there are pretty clear instructions to almost anything you want to achieve.
