Motorola Droid stuck in airplane mode

I have a motorola droid stuck in airplane mode. The motorola logo would pop up and then when it got to the where it said DROID it would freeze, turn off and do it over and over again. After a hard reset it works fine but now airplane mode won't turn off. When I hold down the power button and turn it off it's says off but it's still on. When I uncheck it in wireless settings it just says enabling wireless connections forever then when you go back to it it's checked again. I can't activate it again until I get it out of airplane mode. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
