PC Maps to Droid Maps?

I have been meaning to ask this question for a while now and keep forgetting or never have the time.

When I use Google mas on my PC and create a map, can I sent it to my Droid?
There is a option to save but I a have not noticed a option to save it to a mobile device.

Is there a option to call it up on my device since I am saving it to my account name?

Thanks

What I think you're looking for is go into the Maps app on your phone. Select the menu, then Layers. In the Layers menu there's a button for "More Layers". In the menu that opens you can choose "My Maps".

When I do that it shows me all the maps I've created and saved into "My Maps" on maps.google.com.

I believe Chrome to Phone or Fox to Phone could do this for you if you are running 2.2.

OK so once its moved over to the phone its there, or once you log off Google or chrome to phone does it vanish?

Thanks

Sorry if i am off track because i am busy at work and skimming, but this is what I do to get maps to my phone...

Using Maps on your phone go to layers (And then to more layers} to find all Google maps you created on your PC. Always there, always available.

Thanks all I think I got it.
Now I hope that Wed when I need a certain map its available...

Thanks

Your google maps you create on desk top/ lap top will sync automatically to droid phone. I fought with this also and found out my desk top settings in google maps was not set to sync. There are 2 ways to set sync.
One way to set set sync on is while you are in the map you are creating is to click on tools, options. then click on "Personal Stuff" and you will see sync. At this point click on it and answer the questions. It is looking for your gmail account sign in.
The second way is to go into your google dash board, click "manage maps profile" under maps and follow the steps in first option.

Just keep in mind you will not be able to use those maps to navigate with. If you do, your Nav will recalculate the route and might very well change it. One way around this is to use lots of waypoints so it forces your route....Nav will honor the waypoints.

This is only an issue if you are making custom routes, like I often do when planning my motorcycle trips.
