Pattern Lock screen.. disabling?

Hope I posted this in the right place, but I enabled the pattern lock screen and haven't a clue as to how to disable it. Does anyone know how to disable it? I know its a dumb question but any info would be helpful.

Settings: location and security. Scroll down and set lock screen. To disable it I believe you have to enter the pattern.
