Pairing Jabra 185z with Droid X...How??

Hello,

I have sat here for hours trying to pair my Jabra 185z (bluetooth headest) with my Droid X (it has the 2.2 firmware). I have let the light go solid (on the headset) and turned on bluetooth on my Droid, I have left the headset light on solid blue then turned bluetooth off/on on my Droid. None of this has worked...Oh yes, on my Droid I selected scan for bluetooth devices.

I am not finding research saying it is not compatible........anyone have any suggestions on how to pair my Jabra 185z with my Droid X (firmware 2.2)?

You need the pairing instructions for your headset. The headset needs to be put into pairing mode. This applies to every BT headset out there.

Thank you for your reply. According to the manual when the light is on solid blue, my headset is in pairing mode. I did this a few different ways and it still did not pair....I am at a loss as to why.....anymore suggestions?
