Paid Apps you wish you never paid for??

Better keyboard. Want to know how dumb I can be? I downloaded better keyboard when I first got my Droid, loaded it and tried using it. Only I got confused and thought that the stock keyboard was Better Keyboard. I think I went about a month and a half before I realized that I was just running the stock keyboard.

Uber Keyboard is annoying but it's the only app that uses predictive text with the physical keyboard. weather widget is another.... 3 for me Seems like 24 hours just isn't enough time to decide if an app is crap or not.

Have you considered the HTC keyboard (link below). It's great and enables predictive text to the physical keyboard.

I looked at it. I don't know what, "copy the .htcime file to the root of your SDcard." means??

I can copy the file but I'm not sure what the root of the SDcard is..

Anyone want to help?

The top most level. Do not place it in a subfolder.

That post only has version 13. Its up to 19 or 21 or something. You can also get a custom one that is premade or make your own.

Oops, sorry that's true. I forgot that. The Droid-life would be your best bet. Thanks Tex.

Figured it out. Got the HTC Keyboard installed but it does NOT have predictive text with the physical keyboard. I checked all the settings.

No good for me. Unfortunately I'm tied to Uber keyboard.

.....update....
well, it works with e-mail but not text messages. Weird. Looks interesting. I'm going to give it a test for a while. Thanks.

I only found version 18 on that thread.

Sholes mod or whatever it was called back then! 5 bucks, coulda bought a good beer
quick dial cuase if your contact has more than one number (home, cell, work) its not so quick and has no way to load separate

speaking of the "purchased" reminder... anyway to be rid of it?

Grocery King - the only shopping application that doesn't allow for multiple lists to be created and the developers never respond to inquiries.

ToonWarz, but more for the fact I couldn't really play it very well. I eventually uninstalled it.

The only interesting thing about it was that I had accidentally uninstalled it within the 24 hour purchase time so I got a refund. I quickly went to install it again and got the message that I would not be able to get a refund again.

I purchased GDE thinking that was just the coolest thing with the cube. Ahhh, how the times have changed in a few short months.
