overclocking droid incredible

hello i have had my droid incredible for a year now and just rooted it I don't get overclocking dose it use more power or less hope less help please thanks.

It depends on what kernel you use. It should use less power if the voltages are lower. You can use setcpu or just the built in overclocking if you are running cm7.
xda has a lot of good stuff for the incredible.

welcome to the forum. with overclock u change the frequency on ur phone to run faster. there's good and bad but u can also underclock. heres a link for u to help u understand
