outlook v. google calendar

Is there an app for droid 2 so I can upload my outlook calendar and contacts or will I be forced to upload everything to google

You can download the Google calendar sync program from Google and sync your Outlook/Google calendars. I've been running that between Google Apps and Outlook for about 1.5 years without issue

Also check out the various things like Corporate Sync or Touchdown for Exchange; these have been written to connect to an Exchange Server and sync calendar, contacts, email, etc.
