OTA update

Anyone get this pushed yet?

2 questions for anyone that has/does:

1) Does OTA Rootkeeper allow you to keep root? (any special tips like save root/unroot/reroot after or just keep root)

2) Did you unfreeze apps prior (or do you not have to)?

After the nightmares with the ota pushes to my Incredible, I hope I DON'T ever get it, hope only ICS pushes and even then hope it's after they get the bugs out. Out of 3 different pushes, all 3 did more harm than good. The first limited my uploads to 5mb, the second sent a broken version of gingerbread, the third made my camera flash no longer in sync with the camera and took over a dozen failed attempts to finally install.

Update just finished installing, 52.5MB, 10min (3G only in my area). My skin got changed to default, but everything else appears intact. Hmm, Google Books also decided to sync a couple of books from November...
Software version 2.01.605.11 now running.

I'm seeing the same thing.

Go to Settings/Software Update/Status. There, you'll find the link below where you can download the attached PDF showing exactly what enhancements were done. They're listed below. Sensitivity of the "red" soft keys illuminating also seems to have been improved.

If I go to Software Update and click Check new it comes back and says that there is no update available. But if I click Status I see this:

The update did successfully install. Software Version: 2.01.605.11 is listed in the Status window. That's the version number in the PDF attached to my last post.

But if I go to About Phone in settings and go to software information that version of the software is not installed.Additionally, the pdf from Verizon mentioned the phone restarting during the update process, and mine never did, at least not on its own. I restarted it several times in an effort to get the update to start installing, but it never did.I watched the firmware download, got a message that said the update would start (unfortunately I didn't really study the message) and then nothing.

So for any who installed, rooted? Did you have a replacement recovery?

Still rooted after?

got my update. It fixed the native mail app problems I was having. Makes me happy, I hated the yahoo mail app from the market
