OTA update... will it skip me now?

Hello all i nave a Dinc with Verizon.

This morning I was asked to update to 2.2. I pressed the update later button because my phone was rooted, and i didnt want to have any issues.

So i watched the video on how to "downgrade" and unroot your phone. I did this.

So now it has been like 4 hours, and I have not gotten the OTA request again from Verizon.

AM I GOING TO BE SKIPPED NOW?! OR Will it eventually ask me to update again????

if you go to settings, about phone, system updates, it should be there for ya!

It's not there. It says my phone is up to date.

I've been wondering this too because I rooted and then downgraded and have yet to get the update and the manual update didn't work on my phone did you root via unrevoked or the first way?

Yes.... I used unrevoked.

I got sick of waiting... 10 hours.... ok i am impatient!

I re-rooted and updated to a 2.2 froyo rooted...

Ditto on this, except I rooted AND did S-Off (unrEVOked:Forever) then downgraded. It took me all night to get it back to

Hboot .77
Firmware version 2.1 Update 1
Baseband version 1.00.03.04.06
Software number 1.22.605.3

after having upgraded the radios. I had to re-root, un-root, S-On, and re S-Off several times just to get the Hboot back to .77. Then I apply the manual update, and it looks like it installs, but when I reboot the phone, it's still 2.1 with the original Baseband.

Anyone know what else I can try to get the official OTA?
