What's this? A few months ago, the Google Nexus 10 had a status shift to "out of stock," and it has remained that way for some time. It was easy to assume that a new version was coming out later this year, but now that may not be the case. Google recently changed the status of the Nexus 10 from "out of stock" to "coming soon."
It's important to note that this is for the original version. This suggests that a new Nexus 10 may not be coming. If a new one were coming, then why would Google order new units to sell of the old version? You could perhaps also read between the lines and concur that Google is planning something else instead. This could be indirect confirmation that a Google Nexus 8 or Nexus 9 tablet is indeed coming this year.
Of course, it's also possible that there was an inventory correction, or Google wants to sell a few more of the old Nexus 10 before introducing a new one. For now, we are left to speculate, and/or order a Nexus 10 if we were hoping to get one. Here's the Google Play Store quick link below.
