Orange Icons

I notice that when I'm doing something on my phone such as emailing or texting, and I hit the home soft button, to take me to the home screen..sometimes a random icon on my home screen will appear highlighted in orange, with the icon name scrolling sideways.. and the icon is selected but not doing anything...not really an issue..just notice it happening every now and then..has anyone had this happen to them?


Edit: My phone is not rooted, and never has been.

I had something like this happen some time ago, but it also would randomly scroll between icons on my home screen. I blamed it on a ROM I installed shortly before it started, but I also updated a few apps around the same time. When I restored a backup I made it fixed the problem.
