Is there a way to hav e both my gmail accounts filter into one inbox on my droid so i do not have to keep switching between both?

You will have to do all this from your computer, but here we go...

Have one gmail account forward all its emails to the other one. In your primary account, you will need to take ownership of the other one which is in settings/accounts. You will then get all your emails in one inbox, and when you reply it will be with the account the email came to.

A few limitations with this. The emails will stay on the secondary account, but you do have the choice to automatically archive them all. You won't be able to start a brand new email, addressed from the secondary account from the native gmail app on the phone. You can from online, or even the gmail mobile page, but you will need to use a browser.

if you're not interested in forwarding, which I might say is a good option, you can always use a third party app from the market.

I'm a big fan of K-9. It will allow you to access multiple accounts that you can label so you know what mail is coming from which account.
