If you have an older or less popular device chances are there is probably not a clear root method for it. It may be very difficult for you to find a root method for such devices since developers will mostly not invest their time and efforts into rooting devices that not many people have. I have an HTM H100 and there are no threads anywhere with any developer support for this device that I can easily find.
