On-Screen Keyboards

Does anyone else have issues with these keyboards being extremely inaccurate. For example im using the horizontal on screen multitouch and i will press delete but instead it will select a smiley face. if i try to hit one of the letter on the bottom row instead i will hit the space bar. This phone really needs calibration

Because this phone uses a capacitive touch screen, where you press is where it will register, no calibration required.

Are you coming from a resistive screened phone maybe? I came from the Samsung Omnia and would always select things with my fingernail. You can't use your fingernail on this type of display, so really it's the pad of your finger that registers the click.

If you haven't already, switch to the Swype keyboard. You can do this two ways:
From the multi-touch keyboard, press and hold the ?123 button->Select input Method->Swype
Or, from your home screen->Menu->Settings->Languate & Keyboard->Input Method->Swype.

Look up Swype tutorials on Youtube to see how great of a keyboard it is and how to use it correctly.
